The Wizard Caravan is a traveling collection of artisan crafts, ceremonial tools, textiles, jewelry, artwork, and handmade goods sourced from indigenous and traditional communities around the world — especially throughout South America and the Amazon jungle.

Every piece carries a story, a culture, and the hands of the people who created it.

Yes. Most of our items are handcrafted by artisans, families, and indigenous communities using traditional methods passed down through generations.

Because of this, slight variations, marks, textures, and imperfections are natural — and part of the beauty and authenticity of handmade work.

Our collections are sourced during travels through places such as:

• The Peruvian Sacred Valley
• The Amazon Jungle
• Brazil
• Bolivia
• Colombia
• Indigenous markets and artisan communities throughout South America

We work directly with artists and local makers whenever possible.

We strive to source our products respectfully and directly from artisans and communities whenever possible. Our mission is to help preserve traditional craftsmanship while creating fair and meaningful exchange.

Alpaca is an animal fibre, so it is not vegan. Vegan standards exclude every animal-derived material — wool, cashmere, silk, alpaca — regardless of how it is obtained. We would rather say that plainly than stretch a word.

On cruelty, here is what we can and cannot tell you. An alpaca is shorn, not killed: the fleece is cut once a year and the animal walks away and grows it back. Our sweaters are knitted by small family workshops in the Sacred Valley — the same families we visit each year and buy from face to face, not an industrial supplier.

What we will not do is speak for the whole alpaca industry. It is a large trade with operations we have never set foot in, and we have no way to vouch for them. We can only vouch for the people we actually buy from. If that matters to you, ask us who made your piece — we will tell you.

Because our inventory is often handmade and sourced in small quantities, many items may never be reproduced exactly the same way again.

If you feel called to a piece, we recommend securing it before it disappears back into the winds of the Caravan.

Yes. We currently ship throughout the United States for a flat $6 per order, and shipping is free on orders of $100 or more. International shipping may be available on select orders — contact us to arrange it.

Most orders arrive within 5–10 business days after shipment.

We accept returns on limited eligible items that are unused, unmodified, and returned in original condition within the approved return window.
